Please note: The Centre Coordinator (CC) role and information is only relevant to Private Centres registered with LAMDA. There is no CC role if you are entering a public in-person or ROA event.
The Centre Coordinator is LAMDA’s main contact throughout the booking and examining period and is required to be available throughout the learner examinations.
Due to GDPR laws, LAMDA cannot pass any information to anyone outside of the registered Centre Coordinator (CC) or Head of Centre (HoC) on Exam Track. This means parents and teachers cannot request changes or information about learners.
The CC is responsible for ensuring the following for their centre:
- Liaison Role: Act as the main point of contact between LAMDA and the exam centre.
- Exam Coordination: Manages exam bookings, entries and timetables.
- International CCs must ensure bookings, entries and timetables are managed in line with LAMDA’s international tour schedule.
- Communication: Distribute results and key updates to learners, teachers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to LAMDA’s exam regulations and quality standards.
- Logistics: Oversee venue setup, examiner arrangements*, and smooth running of in-person assessments.
- Documentation: Submit all required forms and reports accurately and on time.
- Deadline Management: Ensure all submissions, payments and, communication are completed within LAMDA’s specified timeframes.
*Examiner Arrangements include ensuring that the examiner has the correct set up on arrival (table and chair) and any other assistance the examiner may require on the day to help facilitate examining. Meals and refreshments for the Examiner are always appreciated, but not compulsory.
The Head of Centre is the main point of accountability and is responsible for making sure all our requirements are being met. They can also act as a secondary point of contact, if the Centre Coordinator cannot be reached/contacted.
