Depending on which stage of the exam booking process you are at, different options are available. 


Closing date for entries* has not yet passed (up to six weeks before the event)

Prior to the event's closing date for entries*, bookings may be amended or cancelled free of charge. However, depending on whether you are a Public Centre customer or Private Centre Coordinator, the process differs slightly. Please choose the option that best suits you: 



Closing date for entries* has passed (between six and two weeks before the event)

Depending on whether you are a Public Centre customer or a Private Centre Coordinator, the process differs slightly. Please choose the option that best suits you:

  • For Public Centre customers, please follow this guidance: How to: Cancel, Amend or Re-book After Closing Date
  • For Private Centre Coordinators, please email us all the necessary details on exams@lamda.ac.uk. Please note that any amendments made after the closing date for entries has passed can be subject to administration fees, in line with our fees lists. 

Each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that your request can be met.



Event is live** and final paperwork has been issued (two weeks prior to the exam or less)

At this stage, no further changes can be made to the final paperwork. There are however different possible solutions, depending on whether your learner is entered for an in-person or online event.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In line with our Safeguarding and GDPR practices, LAMDA can only accept requests from, or communicate information to, the person who made the entry. 



*For most Public Centre events, the closing date for entries will be on the Thursday six weeks prior to the event. You may check your event’s closing date for entries here: Book Exams 

For Private Centre events, the closing date for entries will always be six weeks (or 30 working days) prior to your event.


**Most Public Centre events are made live on the Friday two weeks prior to the event. 

Private Centre events are always made live two weeks (10 working days) prior to the event.
